Belinda enjoys a varied career and is experienced in a wide range of musical genres.

 

Her voice and its versatility has led her from singing at The Rugby World Cup in Australia, to TV and film performanences, to contracts in London's West End.

 

Belinda is proud to be front woman of the electro-acoustic band String Theory

 

She is also one third of critically acclaimed jazz trio The Jazz-à-belles

 

 

Belinda loves creating new music, and has been featured soloist on several albums and new works.  One of her favourite projects has been working with Sean O'Leary on his album The Alchemist

 

Belinda has worked with British composer Helen Porter since she was a teenager.  Helen's song 

'Frail Birds' from her work Hospital Songs was released as a Charity Single in 2013 to raise money for Yeovil Hospital's neonatal  baby unit.  The bonus track on the single 'Robin, Robin' was written for Belinda by composer Liz Lane, and the pair have several forthcoming collaborations...

'Bluebird' is a creative collaboration with British composer Liz Lane, born during the Covid 19 lockdown, when the Arts ground to a halt for what felt like an eternity. Liz and Belinda  began creating miniature songs, with many outstanding contributions from friends  and colleagues.  Visit our facebook page to hear our Bluebirds take flight and for more info on how these miniatures inspired and healed us in the pandemic.
